The IGNITE: Impact Challenge

The IGNITE Impact Challenge is a video submission contest intended to help illuminate how Public Law 119-21 (The One, Big, Beautiful Bill Act) is impacting real people and communities.

Participants must create and submit a video designed to share stories from their lives and/or their communities that help drive the public discourse around five critical topics impacted by Public Law 119-21: SNAP & Medicaid, student loan, immigration & border, energy & climate, and tax impacts. All participants are encouraged to post and share their videos publicly but it is not required. Three (3) winners will be selected from each of the five categories: one First Prize winner ($5,000), one Second Prize winner ($3,000), and one Third Prize winner ($2,000).  Winning videos will be recognized at the Games for Change Festival in New York City in July 2026.

For each of the five (5) categories (SNAP & Medicaid; Student Loans; Immigration & Border; Energy & Climate; Tax Impacts), the following prizes will be awarded:

  • First Prize: Five Thousand U.S. Dollars (US$5,000)
  • Second Prize: Three Thousand U.S. Dollars (US$3,000)
  • Third Prize: Two Thousand U.S. Dollars (US$2,000)

A total of fifteen (15) prizes will be awarded across all categories.

Prizes will be paid within ninety (90) days following the public announcement of winners, expected in September 2026, subject to judging timelines.

If a winning Submission is submitted by a team, the Prize will be paid solely to the designated Team Captain. GGP shall have no responsibility for the distribution of Prize funds among team members. Each team member may be required to execute eligibility and release documentation as a condition of prize issuance.

Winners are solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes associated with receipt of a Prize. As a condition of receiving a Prize, the applicable Winner (or Team Captain, in the case of a team) must complete and return a Form W-9 and any required release documents within [15] days of notification. Failure to comply may result in forfeiture of the Prize and selection of an alternate winner.

Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any Participant who attempts to circumvent submission limits through multiple accounts, coordinated team configurations, or other manipulative practices.
